The Fashion:
One look and it’s all BATMAN™.
Every effort to maintain and respect the beautiful segmented armor details as seen on screen have been painstakingly replicated down to the smallest and seemingly most insignificant of details. Every angle, bevel, edge…including the translucent black Kevlar armor details are all faithfully replicated in this first of it’s kind officially licensed motorcycle suit. While designed with the rider in mind, make no mistake…yes you can wear this as your every day leather jacket of choice. (or as a set)
Not a motorbike rider? No problem, the internal CE approved body armor is easily removable making this a truly easy and cool looking ‘fashionable’ BATMAN™ leather jacket. Every element of this replica suit from the jacket, pants, boots and gloves is completely custom made and in no way incorporates anything pre-existing or off the shelf. No detail was left to chance, and nothing was simplified. Every detail down to the neck ribbings all feature beveled highlights further adding to it’s screen accurate status.
Universal Designs has done the impossible with cow hide leather and created the first ever wearable form molded leather replica. If as children we dreamed…then that dream is now a reality.

The Function:
Individually segmented leather armor allows for ease of movement without any overlap or bundling of leather in crucial areas such as shoulders, armpits, abdomen and groin areas. Form molded leather armor is soft, flexible and easily conforms to your body shape while still maintaining the over all intended detail shape it was meant to replicate. The term ‘Armor’ reflects the look of the form molded leather components because they are indeed soft and flexible. Attention to comfort and over all practicality of use have been just as much of a factor in the realization of this Motorcycle suit as any other visual replica detail. In other words…it’s not only a great looking replica, but an easy to wear and functional motorcycle suit.
5 Point CE Approved Body Armor in forearms with elbow coverage, shoulders and main back section. Pants feature shin and knee CE Approved Body Armor. All CE Armor is removable.

- Side rib detailing (3 on each side) – Soft and Flexible.

Cordura Mesh Base with Industrial Strength Spandex Inserts:
Both the jacket and pants are engineered with a high strength, mesh cordura base material which not only serves as a visual replica of the screen used base suit, but also offers great air flow and release of body heat build up. Assembled in conjunction with Industrial Strength Spandex Inserts, full range of movement is possible.
Leather armor sections are incorporated into the assembly and over all construction of the base mesh and spandex inserts and are not removable.

Full Breakdown of Functional Leather Armor Details:
- Floating back spine armor allows for it’s individual ’spine’ plates to stretch and conform to your natural body position as you sit and lean forward.
- Underarm straps connecting back shoulder blade details to front pectoral armor sections feature cleverly hidden industrial strength spandex for an adjustable and more form fitting garment.
- Forearm Leather Armor Gauntlets are removable and can be separated from the jacket sleeves. Leather Gauntlets feature 4 individually adjustable straps for a personalized forearm fit. Further detailed with 3 Beveled Leather ‘Spikes’ which are cushion soft, yet hold their shape as designed. These ‘Faux’ armor spikes are safe and will flex and bend under any form of stress or pressure.
- Shoulder and Bicep Armor Details are separate from the jacket base and can be adjusted to your body size for an ideal custom look and over all comfort. These areas cannot be removed from the base garment and engineered with the same floating technique as the back spine detail.

Accessibility and Comfort:
Jacket features main torso zipper and 2 wrist cuff zippers.
Pant features zippers on either side of cod piece, further held in place by 2 hidden snap buttons. Bottom pant legs have vertical zippers allowing for a tapered pant leg fit that can easily be tucked into your boots.
Both jacket and pant have an waistline zipper allowing for both to be connected as one ’seamless’ racing suit.
